welcome, fall

We are all still recovering from being sick. Just a cold, but it does seem to linger. Over the weekend we went to the gas stove place and now we are leaning towards just scrapping our current unit which had been having trouble last winter/spring. It is "grandfathered" so we can not add a new heater to the current vent and it would be difficult to add new vents to the building. We do have an electric baseboard so we will just depend on that more, but the good side is we will save money not buying a new heater and can use that for the flooring. Not to mention we will have a bit more space in the living room which we do need. :)

I am glad autumn is here as of this evening. It is my favorite season, maybe more so each year. The next couple days are forecasted as being really hot but I am looking forward to crisp days and apple picking. And yes, we have started Christmas shopping already.

This is frog week so I printed out a number frog printout for them to cut out (well, me to cut for them mostly) and put together. Tomorrow we have playgroup coming, yay. I am so excited to brainstorm with other homeschooling moms and sharing ideas. And Thursday Grandma is coming over from the cape to visit the kids, and Will has his yoga class. Time to break out the Babar yoga book again, we are getting rusty.
